It is a casting process for elastomers using a vacuum to draw the liquid material into the vowin.cn/' target='_blank'>mold. The process starts by placing two pieces silicon vowin.cn/' target='_blank'>mold in a vacuum chamber . The raw material is mixed and degassed and then poured into the mold .Firstly, a master model is made by CNC or SLA and polished to the final surface finish of the part for Silicone Rubber Mold making.

Normally, one Silicone Rubber Mold can produce up to about 15 parts and it depends on the design complexity of the part and casting material. Many materials with simulant properties of real engineering plastic materials are available for vacuum casting. We are able to duplicate the product in a range of different plastic simulant materials, PX5210,PX223,UP 8150,UP 8260,UP4280,UP5290 etc.

the Advantages of Vacuum Casting

  • 1

Fast tooling, normal 1 to 2 days to complete the mould

  • 2

    Fine details can be copied

  • 3

Easy to release parts from the mould due to the non-stick property of the silicone rubber

  • 4

    Good surface finish

  • 5

    Low Cost.

Use of urethane casting

vacuum-casting

Urethane casting provides end-use, rigid or flexible plastic parts with production-level quality. Built without expensive and time-consuming hard tooling.

Our casting process is optimal for low-volume production for quantities of one to several hundred.
